Nightly startup checklist

  • [ ] Sign in at GC trailer
  • [ ] Check in with REX
  • [ ] Check in with Phil Garvin
  • [ ] Confirm the night's target areas and blockers
  • [ ] Capture required photo sets if in startup window
  • [ ] Log every cable, device, switch, and port touched
  • [ ] Note missing material, port issues, construction conflicts, or damaged DMBs
  • [ ] Check out with REX
  • [ ] Check out with Phil, or ICE PM if late OT checkout applies
  • [ ] Prep the next morning's daily update before sleep

Week-1 must-win items

  • Photos: GDC, GM, GRC, PICS, TLE, UPC, RCV01, RCV02, RX, Rear EDC
  • AP validation: verify the 4 new and 2 moved APs physically match prints
  • Inventory: start within 24 hours of receipt, photograph sheets, prep shortage notes
  • Meetings: attend 2 morning meetings per week and keep Wayne aware of the days
  • Documentation: first daily updates must already look Wayne-compliant

Field escalation rules

  • Ports: route through Phil before last-minute turn-up creates OT.
  • DMB damage or install delay: notify RPL and Wayne immediately with photos.
  • OT after 6am: needs RPL/REX email to ICE PM, calls or texts alone do not count.
  • Absent or leaving early: notify REX and ICE PM before scheduled time, get the right email trail.
  • Conduit, backboard, switch-relocation delay: escalate to Wayne early, not when it is already blocking the shift.
